Beaver Falls, PA - Ingenuware launched the next
version of their critically acclaimed ChessRally product, which
sports new Parental Control features and an enhanced chat
filtering device. The new Parental Control features allow
parents and guardians the ability to restrict which words their
children are allowed to see, even if spelled creatively, and
also gives them the opportunity to control their online
activities with ChessRally, including being able to screen out
suspicious characters, and to record chat conversations for
later analysis. The enhanced chat filter is a
"heuristic" filtering algorithm which can spot even
the most unusual spellings for commonly used words which might
be deemed inappropriate.
Other reasons for the
release included fixes and general performance enhancements for
the existing product. "We're very pleased with this
new release, and we've received a lot of terrific support from
our customers during the development and testing process.
We expect ChessRally to scale the charts as the best, most fun,
and safest chess game on the market." That was the
word from Ingenuware's President & CEO, Robert C. Ryniak.
ChessRally has enjoyed
very fast growth and certain popularity on the major software
websites, including CNET's Download.com (www.download.com)
Ingenuware staff of encouraged that ChessRally is going to
continue to climb the charts and completely win over the
Chess-playing community.
