Beaver Falls, PA - Ingenuware, Ltd's flagship product, ImpulseStudio 3, was
recently rated #16 among a group of Top 25 Multimedia
Components and Libraries for Windows, according to an article on IBM's
developerWorks, a free resource for developers. (www.ibm.com/developerWorks).
Although ImpulseStudio 3 didn't
make the Top 10, ImpulseStudio 3 was rated among a large set of
component libraries. "ImpulseStudio 3 is a general
purpose package comprising components for all areas of Visual Basic
development, including some multimedia capabilities that we felt
developers would find useful. For our product to get hailed as #16
amidst multimedia component packages now on the
market is truly impressive to us.", reported Robert Ryniak,
Ingenuware's President.
The article, written by James
Durham, an independent multimedia consultant for IBM, outlines the Top
10 Multimedia Components and Libraries in detail, and gives an honorable
mention to the remaining 11-25, stating, "The following excellent
products could easily make it on anyone's top 10 list... ...they all
deserve a serious look!" The article's specific comments on
ImpulseStudio 3 included the statement, "Impressive low-cost general-purpose high-level component set with some noteworthy multimedia features."
